CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
LifeNet is a 501c3 non-profit organization that is fully funded by individuals and organizations who want to provide this ministry to our community. EIN# 30-1005681. LifeNet Family Resource and Pregnancy Center provides free services in Tehama County, CA to help women with pregnancy and other reproductive health concerns, including pregnancy testing and abortion information. Our center does not perform or refer for abortion or prescribe birth control.
We would not be able to serve our community at the level we do without a network of dedicated volunteers. Not only are they able to use their talents to serve our clients, but the hours they give to LifeNet allow us to operate on a significantly smaller budget and still make an impact in our community.
We have various volunteer opportunities available for you to get involved in the work of LifeNet!
Prayer is our greatest need. We depend on dedicated prayer from our supporters. Please consider praying for us on a regular basis. Pray for our volunteers and staff to love well and for continued provision in our ministry.

New Volunteer Training occures after initial meeting with Executive Director. One on one training is offered at the center during volunteer hours. Additional training occurs through online Onboarding videos either onsite or on your own time. There are group staff training meetings held periodically throughout the year.
The focus of the training is to guide trainees to serve as Advocates or as volunteers in the center. An Advocate is a pregnancy center volunteer who meets with women or men who are making pregnancy decisions, specifically those people who are considering abortion.
Recognizing that the pregnant woman is the ultimate decision-maker in a pregnancy decision, the curriculum focuses on serving her well. Yet, concepts presented are transferable to serving men.
The training offers practical tools and relevant information to better serve our community.
