LifeNet is a 501c3 non-profit organization that is fully funded by individuals and organizations who want to provide this ministry to our community. EIN# 30-1005681. LifeNet Family Resource and Pregnancy Center provides free services in Tehama County, CA to help women with pregnancy and other reproductive health concerns, including pregnancy testing and abortion information. Our center does not perform or refer for abortion or prescribe birth control.
Inventory Assistant
Responsibilities
- You will help with sorting and organizing the material donations we receive.
- You may help wash or sanitize donations made to the boutique.
- You will also help assemble layettes for our expecting moms who successfully complete educational classes through our Learning for Life program.
Must Haves
- You have the ability to serve 2-10 hours a week.
- You can be on your feet for a couple of hours and lift bins of clothes.
- You have the flexibility in your schedule to come to center within a few days when donations are especially big.
Skills
- Making neat stacks out of piles of chaos makes your heart sing.
- You prefer to work behind the scenes.
- You like repetitive work tasks that allow you to chat with others while you do it.
- You can discern when donated items should be used or discarded due to condition.
